Budapest Hotel City Inn - Programmes

Just in case you choose to do a little more than familiarizing yourself with the unrivalled beauty of Hungary's capital, here's a few hints we would surely recommend for the not-faint-hearted. Must-do for teambulding and friends:

GO-KARTING

GO-KARTING
Have you got what it takes to be a racing driver?
Karting is without doubt your first step into the exciting world of motor sport. All formula one drivers started their careers driving karts and many of todays stars still use karts to perfect their driving skills and reactions.
Now you can experience the thrill of racing karts at a location close to Hotel City Inn during your visit here.
Everything around you sinks into a blur as you focus on the track directly ahead, judging the bends so that you can sneak inside your competitors. Behind you, the 200cc four-stroke engine pleads for mercy as you plant your right foot firmly into the floor and pass 50mph in under five seconds. There's nothing like the feel of an outdoor go-kart track, especially when it is only a matter of inches beneath you. Your individual lap times are recorded and displayed, there's only ONE winner! Go-karts are the same, the track is the same, the weather is the same. It's You who makes a difference!

Generally you will arrive at the venue and receive full kart and safety instructions, before being kitted out in race suit, helmet and gloves. Then follows a series of practice laps to familiarise yourself with the course, before you take to the track to see how good you really are. As a guide you should expect to be at the venue for around an hour and a half. The track is long, 800 metres and 8 m wide concrete.

BULLSEYE (TARGET) SHOOTING
This is an activity that most people can participate in with ease, all you really need is a steady arm (or table) and a good eye, your instructor will be with you to give you the tips you need to do well.
177 and .22 Air Pistols and Air rifles are used for this activity; telescopic sights can be used on the rifles to help give you the edge.
A variety of targets can be selected depending on the challenge required, a standard cardboard static bulls eye target is scored by the grouping in relation to number of points shown on the target. This can be used without a time limit to test your concentration and consistency.
Various scenarios can be arranged to make your day more interesting and testing for a team challenge. The fee will include the necessary training, gun rent, usage of premises, ammunition, headsets, etc.

FOR PROFESSIONALS!
Our shooting club is pleased to invite You for a full spectrum of shooting activities! Events can include IPSC and IDPA shooting sessions, small and big bore, short and long course competitions, besides the opportunity of using other types of guns and rifles (cartridge, etc.). Come along, Your fun is guaranteed!
Please be advised that clients will not be allowed to use our shooting facilities if they have consumed alcohol or drugs prior to arrival or whilst on our shooting ground!

ADRENALIN SLIDE

Participants travel downhill on the wire-way in small groups. The exhilarating adventure strengthens the feeling of belonging to one another, and to the group. The oneness with nature within the Canopy creates an atmosphere of being at ease, which is an indispensable condition of a happy and unstressed self-awareness, personality development, and through this integration into the group.
At the starting point of the canopy course protective clothing is put on (mountaineering belt and helmet, and depending on the weather windproof and rainproof jacket and trousers,). From here, participants walk in groups of 6-7, the 250 meters to pillar 1. Each group is accompanied by 2 escorts. Climbing unto the platform on the pillar, the escorts fasten the pulleys on the belts, by which the group members, one after the other, slide downhill from pillar to pillar. After getting off at pillar 11, the visitors can take a pleasant walk along a forest path through some beautiful places back to the close Inn, or, if required, they can be transported back by minibus. The programme ends with the returning of protective clothing.
